Luna tyres is a renowned brand of cycle tyre manufacurers in Kolkata and East India. The company was established in 1973. The name Luna, was inspired by the Russian space program, and the aim was to create cycles tyres that provide speed, precision and trust.
Luna has pioneered nylon cycle tyres and its technology over the last five decades. Luna has an installed capacity of 30 lakh tyres annually.
Through its research, technology and strong market research, Luna has worked on a range of cycle tyres for different terrains, including mountain bike tyres, passenger bike tyres and auto rickshaws.
The management of RD Rubber Reclaim Limited has acquired Luna Tyres under the name of Luna Limited in 2026.

Currently, Luna Tyres has an installed production capacity of 2.50 Lakhs (Nos) bicycle tyres. We are also in progress of setting up an all new production plant in Buramala, West Midnapore, West Bengal, capable of producing and additional 2.50 Lakh (Nos) tyres and tubes per month individually.
With the intention of supplying bicycles to the West Bengal Government under the Pathersathi Scheme, we have registered a company under the name of MIDNAPORE CYCLES PVT. LTD. (GSTIN: 19AACCM5668D1ZB).
